The National LWOP Leadership Council is a joint effort of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Human Rights Watch, and University of Southern California Gould School of Law’s Post-Conviction Justice Project.
The project creates awareness about the sentence of life without parole, supports the leadership of people who have experienced the sentence, and encourages changes in law and practices.
